OnePlus 7 leaked renders reveal design very similar to the 6T
We have seen a ton of OnePlus 7 Pro leaks so far, but now a bunch of OnePlus 7 leaked renders have surfaced. The design isn’t very new, in fact it is very similar to that of the 6T.
The OnePlus 7 sports a 6.41 inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with a water-drop notch as opposed to the pop-up camera on the Pro variant. The notch of course, is where the selfie lens is housed, speaking of which the lens is a 16MP camera.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM, and 128GB/256GB of storage. The OnePlus 7 leaked renders reveal an almost identical design in terms of the button locations, the alert slider and the volume rocker keys are nearly where they were on the 6T.
Rumour has it that the OnePlus 7 is just a OnePlus 6T, but with support for 5G mobile networks. That may not be accurate, as you can see from the back panel pictured in the OnePlus 7 leaked renders that were shared by WinFuture.
The dual rear cameras and the LED flash are housed together on the new phone, whereas the 6T had the LED flash slightly further away from the lenses. The OnePlus 7’s primary camera is a 48MP camera with a Sony IMX 586 sensor and an f/1.7 aperture, which is the same lens as the one on the OnePlus 7 Pro. The secondary camera is a 5MP depth sensor.
The OnePlus 7 is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner, which is said to be an optical sensor, not an ultra-sonic one. The phone has a speaker grille on the bottom. The device is backed by a 3,700 mAh battery that supports 30W Warp Charge over a USB Type-C port. OnePlus continues its infamous tradition of skipping the 3.5mm headphone jack.
We will know more about the phone when it launches alongside the Pro variant on May 14th.
